Here’s what you need to know about this year’s shows:
The Tractor Show will have a different time and location this year. Starting at 11 a.m., entries will unload out at the Montcalm County Road Commission. Then, they will proceed from there to get their photos taken for the annual tractor calendar and lineup for the Grand Parade. Once they reach the end of the parade route on Main Street, they will continue on through and pull into their positions for the show on East Main Street where they will spend the afternoon. This is a first for us to have the Tractor Show coincide with the Car Show time slot starting at 2pm. More info is available at https://stantonofd.com/tractor-show/.
The Car Show is now being sponsored and hosted by both Bookwalter Chevrolet and Stanton NAPA this year. While the 2 p.m. show time on Main Street is the same as last year, the registration location has changed. This year, from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., cars should head west on Walnut Street from S. Sheridan Road (M-66) and stop at the registration booth near the intersection of Walnut and S. Court Street, then proceed toward Cemetery St and park in the lineup, where they will stay until it is time to move onto Main Street after the Parade. Pre-registration is available in print or online for $15. The price goes up to $20 the day of the show. Visit https://stantonofd.com/
