Grand Parade

Grand Parade Led by Stanton American Legion

Our SOFD Grand Parade is a can’t miss attraction during the festival since it brings the whole community together all at the same time and place, so be sure to find a good spot along Main Street between N State and Mill St on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.

In honor of Stanton’s early days, we would especially love to have our parade entries get creative and support our “White Pine Legacy” theme. There will be a contest to see which parade entries can best use their imagination and bring their logging and lumberjack related ideas to life. Cash prizes of $100, $75, and $50 will go to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place entries, thanks to Sheridan Community Hospital for sponsoring and judging this contest.

Our 2025 Grand Marshal, Larry Petersen will be featured in the lineup, so be sure to give him a wave to show appreciation for all of his years of service in our community.

A big thank you also goes out to the Stanton Rotary Club for organizing the parade in the Save-A-Lot parking lot, on W. Day St. just west of M-66 (follow the parade registration signs). Line up starts at 11:00 A.M.

Pre-registration is requested and encouraged this year; however, day-of entries will still be accepted on site at the registration booth. An online pre-registration form is available below

Pre-registration is closed. Please report to the Rotary Booth in the Save-A-Lot parking lot near the corner of Day St and N M-66 for Day-Of Registration starting at 11:00 A.M.
