Grand Parade

NOTE: We are excited for the return of this event in 2027, but please stay tuned as we finalize our planning and update our website accordingly. This page is under construction and information below is from last year and subject to change.

Our SOFD Grand Parade is a can’t miss attraction during the festival since it brings the whole community together all at the same time and place, so be sure to find a good spot along Main Street between N State and Mill St on Saturday at 11:00 A.M. PLEASE NOTE THE TIME CHANGE FOR 2026!

In an effort to continue the summer of patriotism for 2026, we encourage our parade entries get creative with their interpretation of our “Old-Fashioned Pride, All-American Ride: Celebrating 250 Years of the U.S.A.” theme. There will be a contest to see which parade entries can best use their imagination and showcase their display of American pride. Cash prizes of $100, $75, and $50 will go to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place entries, thanks to Sheridan Community Hospital for sponsoring and judging this contest.

Our 2026 Grand Marshal, Ron Blum will be featured in the lineup, so be sure to give him a wave to show appreciation for all of his years of service in our community.

A big thank you also goes out to the Stanton Rotary Club for organizing the parade in the Save-A-Lot parking lot, on W. Day St. just west of M-66 (follow the parade registration signs). Line up starts at 9:00 A.M.

Pre-registration is requested and encouraged; however, day-of entries will still be accepted on site at the registration booth. An online pre-registration form is available below or you may print and mail your registration.

Pre-registration is closed. Please report to the Rotary Booth in the Save-A-Lot parking lot near the corner of Day St and N M-66 for Day-Of Registration starting at 9:00 A.M.
