To celebrate the 40th SOFD festival, we’re excited to have a theme for this year’s Grand Parade: “Putting the ‘Old Fashioned’ back in Old Fashioned Days.” There will be a contest to see which parade entries can best use their imagination and bring their “old fashioned” ideas to life. Cash prizes of $100, $75, and $50 will go to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place entries. We’d like to thank Sheridan Community Hospital for judging and sponsoring this contest and we are excited to see just how old fashioned our parade can be!
Also starting this year, we are requesting that parade participants pre-register, so our dedicated Stanton Rotary volunteers can have a head start for planning and organizing. Since this is a new expectation, they will not turn away on-site registrations the day of, but they will greatly appreciate any advance sign ups. You can access the form here: 2024 Parade Registration
