You won’t want to miss our Historic Downtown come to life on Saturday from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. Even before Old Fashioned Days came to be, the annual Car Show has been a long-standing Stanton tradition, attracting hundreds of classic cars and trucks to our city each summer.
IMPORTANT: To enter your vehicle, registration and staging is from Noon to 2:00 p.m. near the intersection of W Bradford St and North M-66. (Follow signs for Car Show Registration.) For entries arriving at or after 2 p.m., pull up from the north to the barricade at N Court Street and wait to be directed to a spot. After parking, report to the relocated registration booth in front of the former bank building on Main Street.
New this year, are some add-ons including a Mobile Chassis Dyno and a Burnout Contest (click on each link for more info). NOTE: Registration is required for these events before the show starts. Fees or donations paid to these events are separate and in addition to the $20 day-of (or $15 in advance) Car Show registration fee that all entries must pay.
After the Grand Parade, cars will be led onto Main Street and directed to assigned areas based on the add-on events they signed up for. Judges will choose their Top 30 and Best in Show from all of the entries. An awards ceremony will take place around 6:30 P.M.
When moving a vehicle at any time, car show participants are asked to please remember that safety is our #1 priority. Burnouts and tire chirping or squealing, outside of the events where they are allowed, are prohibited and will be monitored by law enforcement.
