Mud Volleyball is back for another year of splashing fun. Always a popular event Stanton Old Fashioned Days is looking forward to another big crowd of participants and spectators. Like to get wet and muddy? Grab your friends and hit the pit for the Mud Volleyball tournament Sunday at D Hale Brake Park Registration is from 9 a.m. with tournaments starting at 10 a.m. There is a $60 registration fee per 6 person team registered. Each tournament is run on a double elimination basis. Start time for each team will be randomly chosen and all team members are responsible to be there on time.
Come on out and join in the 5 K run Saturday August 13th. at 8:00. The Lions Club is sponsoring and organizing the 5 K run which will
START/FINISH LOCATION: Maddie’s House Park E. Main Street
ROUTE: East and west on Main Street, incorporating a northern portion of the Heartland Trail and a southern loop past D. Hale Brake Park . Proceeds will go toward community efforts such as the purchase of glasses & hearing aids for the area’s financially disadvantaged.

Crazy about Corn Hole, practice up on your skills and get on down for several rounds of Corn throwing competition. Start time will be 11:00 AM on Saturday. There is a $10 registration fee per team if registered by Aug. 1 or $15 after that. This year it will be held at Madie's Park by the Heartland Trail.
